Interactive Atlas of Canada

Explore Canada through interactive maps of the resource economy, transportation network and agriculture. Each atlas combines geographic context with source-linked information so readers can see how land, infrastructure and industry connect across the country.

Map accuracy: Each atlas explains whether a layer uses official mapped geometry, government raster data, point locations or explanatory corridor lines. Follow the source links inside each map for the underlying data.

Why an interactive atlas?

Canada is enormous, and many of the country’s economic and historical stories make more sense when you can see them geographically. These maps are designed as educational and research tools: zoom in, switch layers on and off, search for locations and follow primary-source links when you want to dig deeper.

Canadian Country Life will continue adding maps as useful datasets become available. The goal is not to replace official government mapping tools, but to make important Canadian information easier to explore and understand.
